Everyone has
more than
one story

Shape your story – transform your life

Welcome! This is a space where you can begin to rewrite your story.

We all carry stories about who we are — shaped by our experiences, the roles we’ve played, and the expectations we’ve tried to meet.
But sometimes, the story we’re living no longer fits. It feels too small, too heavy, or simply not ours anymore.

As a coach, I believe in the power of perspective. When we shift how we see ourselves, we unlock new narratives — ones that reflect not just where we’ve been, but where we want to go.

I work with people navigating change with a special focus on expats and their families.
Living between cultures often brings unseen challenges, but also the chance to rediscover who you are, and what really matters to you.

You are not defined by a single story.

In our work together, we’ll uncover the beliefs holding you back, reconnect with your strengths, and shape a version of your life and career that feels more like you.

With a blend of solution-focused and narrative coaching, I’m here to guide you through change with clarity, confidence, and compassion.

Ready to explore what else is possible? Let’s start writing your next chapter.

About me

Hi, I'm Nina – nice to meet you!

I'm a certified life coach with a background in international work and a deep interest in personal change.
I completed my first coach training in 2017 at the Life Purpose Institute in San Diego, CA and have been coaching ever since – always with a focus on small, meaningful steps that feel doable.

My approach combines solution-focused methods with a narrative perspective, creating space for clarity, confidence, and new direction.

Alongside my coaching work, I’ve led international teams and supported people through change across cultures and continents.
I'm currently deepening my expertise through additional certification in solution-focused coaching and the Coaching in Organizations program at SolutionsAcademy, Germany.

I'm a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and currently working toward my PCC credential.

Why I coach

I spent many years leading teams across countries and cultures. What inspired me most was always the same: helping people grow, overcome challenges, and gain confidence. That passion led me to coaching — and for me, the most meaningful part is helping people reconnect with what’s already within them: their strengths, clarity, and ability to move forward on their own terms. I focus on coaching expats and their families, because I know what it means to build a life far from home. As an expat myself, I’ve experienced the mix of excitement, uncertainty, and reinvention that comes with living and working across cultures. Whether you move for work, love, or adventure — who you are begins to shift. And the stories that once fit may no longer feel true.

My coaching approach

I work with individuals who want to navigate change with more confidence and intention — especially expats and their families. Together, we uncover what’s no longer working, reconnect with your resources, and shape what comes next. My approach is warm, clear, and focused on small, achievable steps. Using a blend of solution-focused and narrative coaching, I help clients move forward with more self-trust and perspective — in their personal lives, relationships, or professional paths.

A little more about me

I’m originally from Germany — I grew up in Bavaria, spent many years in Hamburg, and have lived, worked, and traveled across Europe, South America, Asia, and Africa. After several years in the U.S., I now live in Amsterdam, together with my husband and our dog. I love spending time in nature, cooking with friends, practicing yoga — and most of all, discovering new places and cultures.

About

What we talk about

Living abroad changes more than just your surroundings. These are some of the topics that come up again and again – in my own experience and in the stories of my clients.

Identity in transition

Frau meditiert

When we move abroad, the roles and routines that once defined us often fall away. Whether it’s leaving a job, adapting to a new culture, or simply not being understood in the same way — our sense of identity can feel shaky.
In coaching, we explore how to stay connected to who you are — even when everything around you changes — and what version of yourself you want to grow into.

Belonging & feeling at home

Globus mit Herz

Home isn’t just a place — it’s a feeling.
Expat life often brings a strange mix of gratitude and disconnection. You might love the new environment and still miss the old one. Or find yourself in a place where you look like you belong but don’t feel it at all.
Together, we explore what belonging means to you — and how to create a sense of home from the inside out.

Relationship dynamics

Zwei Freunde, die sich an den Händen halten

Relocations can shift relationship dynamics in unexpected ways — with partners, children, extended family or friends. Maybe one partner gave up a job, or you’re parenting in a new language and culture.
Coaching offers space to talk about changing roles, unspoken expectations, and how to reconnect with each other from a place of understanding and respect.

Rethinking your path

Wegweißer, der in zwei verschiedene Richtungen zeigt

Career paths don’t always travel well across borders. Some clients find themselves needing to reinvent professionally — others realize that what they’ve been doing no longer fits.
We work on reconnecting with your strengths, identifying new opportunities, and navigating transitions with clarity and self-trust.

Invisible load & decision fatigue

Living abroad can be mentally taxing in ways that are hard to explain — new systems, cultural differences, constant micro-decisions. Even the smallest things can feel exhausting. Especially when you're the one holding things together for a family.
In coaching, we create space to breathe, prioritize, and get back in touch with what nourishes you.

Loneliness & feeling unseen

Einzelner Mensch auf einer Strasse

Starting over can be hard. It’s possible to feel incredibly lucky and deeply lonely at the same time.
Coaching can be a space where you don’t have to pretend everything is fine — where your struggles are heard without judgment, and where you can begin to feel more grounded again.

Redefining what you want

Eine wachsende Pflanze

Sometimes, stepping outside your comfort zone creates room to hear your own voice again.
Together, we explore what feels meaningful, how your priorities are shifting, and what version of your story you want to write next — whether that means small adjustments or big changes.

You’re not alone in these questions.
The challenges of (expat) life are real — and they also open doors to growth, clarity, and connection.

If you're ready to explore what’s possible, I’d love to meet you.
